Biology/Ecology

Identifying Features:
Male produces chirping calls. Smaller (BL about 14 mm), with head distinctively obliquely truncated anteriorly; head and pronotum pale with dense black patterns; legs with similar colour patterns as head and pronotum; male tegmen truncated, not reaching abdominal apex, with apical area about as long as or shorter than length of mirror. Head, pronotum and legs pubescent.
